Mississippi Man is Recovering From a Car Accident in Okaloosa County, Florida
OKALOOSA COUNTY, FLORIDA - A news report published on www.mypanhandle.com states that a 68-year-old man from Mississippi is being treated for severe injuries following a head-on collision in Okaloosa County, Florida.*
The Florida Highway Patrol reported that a Chevrolet pickup truck was traveling eastbound along Highway 90 and approaching Highway 4 when the accident occurred.
A truck driver, who was involved in the accident, stated that the sun was blinding him, and he was unable to see the Mississippi man's car approaching. The truck driver attempted to turn left from Highway 90 and onto Highway 4. However, the truck pulled out in front of the Mississippi man's car causing a head-on collision.
The Mississippi driver was air evacuated to Sacred Heart in Pensacola, Florida, where he is listed in stable medical condition. The driver of the pickup truck did not report being injured.
