One Tragically Killed and Many Others Sustained Injuries in a Multi-car Accident in Okaloosa County, Florida

OKALOOSA COUNTY, FLORIDA - A news article published on mypanhandle.com states a 50-year-old man from Indiana was tragically killed, and many others were injured in a multi-car accident last Saturday.*

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a multi-vehicle crash transpired on State Road 293 by State Road 85.  The report states that a pickup truck was traveling eastbound on State Road 293.  At some point, the pickup truck crossed over the centerline and collided with the front left of a sports utility vehicle. 

The accident report stated that the SUV overturned, and its driver, a 50-year-old, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.  The SUV was transporting several other people who were all injured.  A 47-year-old woman and two teenagers are recovering from severe accident-related injuries.  The pickup truck driver and the three SUV passengers were taken to a local area hospital. The accident is currently under investigation.
