Two Kids Injured in Sever Accident Near Pecos
LAS VEGAS - A news report published on news3lv.com states that the North Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department reported on a serious motor vehicle accident at an intersection involving three motor vehicles.* CSI and Traffic Division were on the accident scene.
A Preliminary investigation from the North Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department stated that a red Chevy Silverado was speeding southbound on Pecos. At that time a Nissan SUV was trying to make a left turn from Pecos to head westbound along Cheyenne. The red Chevy Silverado crashed with the SUV, and both motor vehicles pushed into a Ford Focus.
The male driver in the red Chevy Silverado and a male passenger suffered accident injuries, and they were taken to UMC.
Inside the Nissan SUV a female driver, a four-year-old, and a one-year-old and were taken to UMC. The one-year-old is listed in critical medical condition. The four-year-old is also listed in critical medical condition. The female driver sustained injuries.
The silver Ford focus had three occupants that all remained on scene and were not taken to a hospital.
Speeding and driving under the influence are the factors in this traffic accident. The intersection was closed in all directions, and drivers are asked to avoid the area.
The North Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is currently investigating a three-vehicle accident near Pecos Road and Cheyenne Boulevard. The crash was reported around 7:55 PM, and serious accident injuries were reported to NLVPD.
