Atrak Train Derails in Montana Caused Numerous Injuries to Passengers and Crew Members
According to an online news report on foxnews.com, an Amtrak train derailed in Montana, causing a serious train accident. The report states that many of the train's passengers were trapped inside the wreckage.*

According to Amtrak Public Relations Manager Jason Abrams, after the Amtrak train derailed, there were "injuries reported," and Amtrak officials are working with law enforcement authorities to "safely evacuate all other passengers" and take injured passengers to local area hospitals. Mr. Abrams stated that the train accident occurred at around 4 p.m. MT and there were about 13 crew members and 147 passengers on board the train.
The train derailment happened on the Empire Builder line, which connects Seattle and Chicago. The train accident is being investigated. No further details were provided at this time.
