Tragic, Fatal Helicopter Crash in a Georgia Forest Near Monticello
MONTICELLO, GEORGIA - A news report published on walb.com states that a federal investigator reported three people were tragically killed in a helicopter crash.*. The crash occurred in a forest located in central Georgia.
National Transportation Safety Board Investigator Aaron McCarter reported to news reporters that the Robinson R66 helicopter accident spread debris over 125 feet from the initial impact. He reported two pilots and a passenger tragically passed away in the accident.
