Tragic, Fatal Motor Vehicle Accident in Clayton County, Georgia

CLAYTON COUNTY, GEORGIA - A news report posted on fox5atlanta.com, the Clayton County police are currently investigating a fatal vehicle accident that tragically killed one driver and sent another driver to a local area hospital.*  The other driver is in critical medical condition.  

Local law enforcement officials reported that the accident occurred just before 9 in the morning along Riverdale Road in College Park, Georgia.  According to the Clayton County Police Department, the driver who was killed was heading north on Riverdale Road when the driver encountered traffic.  As the driver attempted to stop the vehicle, they accidentally locked their car's brakes, and the motor vehicle rotated into the road's southbound traffic lanes.  The vehicle was then t-boned by another motorist, police reported.

Law enforcement officials did not release the names of those involved in the motor vehicle accident. The investigation is currently ongoing.
