Tragic, Fatal Accident in Roswell Injures Several Passengers
ROSWELL, GEORGI - A news report published on fox5atlanta.com states that the Roswell Police Department officers and troopers with the Georgia State Patrol are currently investigating a fatal accident.* The fatal accident occurred on Holcomb Bridge Road last Sunday morning.
Roswell police stated that the Alpharetta Police Department advised Roswell police officers to look out for a group of motor vehicles racing or driving recklessly in the area. One Roswell Police officer found the motorists driving eastbound on Holcomb Bridge Road, and the officers attempted a traffic stop when they observed an Infiniti G37 "laying drags."
The Infiniti G37 sped off, starting a police chase until the cars reached the intersection of Calibre Creek Parkway and Holcomb Bridge Road. Roswell police stated that the suspect's car crashed close to Scott Road. As Roswell Police approached the wreckage, the officers discovered two people inside the car, a woman and a man, had been ejected from the motor vehicle. The victims were hospitalized with life-threatening accident-related injures. The man tragically passed away due to the severity of his injuries.
Roswell Police announced that two other people were seen fleeing the wrecked car and got into another vehicle, which fled the accident scene. The Georgia State Patrol is currently investigating the accident. Criminal charges are expected.
