The head-on accident injuries to the other two drivers were described as non-life-threatening.

Georgia State Patrol troopers stated that they have responded to accidents throughout the state of Georgia, including Villa Rica, Thomasville,  LaGrange, Americus, Blue Ridge, and Gainesville.  According to the Georgia State Patrol, there were fatal accidents reported in Athens, Atlanta, and Henry County.
