Tragic, Fatal Accident Involving a Ford Fiesta and a Brick Wall
A news report published on thesun.co.uk states that a young woman, 18 years of age, was tragically killed in a village accident that left three additional people seriously injured.* The decedent was riding in the rear seat of a Ford Fiesta when it crashed into a wall at around 6.20 PM last Saturday.
Notwithstanding the best attempts of the emergency medical services, the teenager was grievously declared dead at the accident scene. The young woman's heartbroken family released a statement saying that their daughter was a "much-loved" sister, daughter, granddaughter, niece, and friend who is going to be missed greatly.
The driver, and 18-year-old male, and two of his passengers - a 17-year-old girl and an 18-year-old man were all transported to a local area hospital with serious injuries.
According to the accident report, the skid marks were over 150ft long, and showed that the motor vehicle was heading east along the road. A large portion of the brick wall was destroyed as a result of the collision.
Police are asking any witnesses in the area around the time of the accident to come forward with any information that they have. The accident is currently under investigation. No criminal charges were reported at this time.
