66-year-old Bus Driver Tragically Killed in Fairburn, Georgia

August 30, 2021

FAIRBURN, GEORGIA - A news report published on cbs46.com states that the Fairburn Police Department has issued a revised statement regarding last Saturday morning's fatal accident involving a school bus driver.*

According to Anthony Bazydlo, the Deputy Chief of the Fairburn Police Department, the accident investigators are not sure if the driver was beside or under the bus.  The investigators also do not understand how the accident occurred.

The investigators believe the accident victim was communicating with the school concerning a problem with the parking brake just before the fatal accident.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim who was killed in the Friday school bus accident at Landmark Christian School in Fairburn, Georgia.

According to one investigator, the victim is a white female from Fairburn.

This story will be updated if new details are released.
