Man Tragically Passes Away Five Days After Injured in an I-26 Accident in Spartanburg County, South Carolina

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the fatal accident occurred at around 4:45 pm along I-26 westbound by mile marker 26.
South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers reported that the car rear-ended a tractor-trailer truck that was stopped in traffic.
The car's driver was transported to Spartanburg Medical Center, where the man tragically succumbed to his injuries at around 6:00 pm last Friday.
The Spartanburg County Coroner stated that the victim was a 26-year-old man from Glenwood, Maryland. The tractor-trailer truck driver was not hurt in the accident. Law enforcement officers are investigating the accident.
