Woman Tragically Dies in a Motor Vehicle Accident on I-16 in Laurens County, Georgia

LAURENS COUNTY, GEORGIA - A news report published on wgxa.tv states that an 88-year-old woman was tragically killed in a motor vehicle accident in Laurens County, Georiga.*  According to the Georgia State Patrol, the woman was involved in a two-vehicle crash. The fatal accident occurred last Sunday night on Interstate-16 by Georgia Highway 26.

The news report states that a Toyota Camry rear-ended a Chevrolet Suburban on Interstate-16 eastbound.  The collision caused the Chevrolet Suburban to drive off of the road and wreck in a nearby woodline.

The victim was identified as an 88-year-old woman from Acworth, Georgia.  The Georgia State Patrol's Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team is currently investigating the fatal accident.
