ATV Strike Three Pedestrians, Two Pass Away in in East Dublin Accident
DUBLIN, GEORGIA - A news article published on wgxa.tv reports that the Georgia State Patrol is currently investigating a fatal ATV crash that tragically killed two people along Robert Plummer Road in East Dublin, Georiga.*
Georgia State Troopers report the accident occurred at around 3:45 PM. The Georgia State Patrol was asked to investigate the motor vehicle accident on Robert Plummer Road in Laurens County, Georgia.
According to the accident report, an ATV was heading eastbound along Robert Plummer Road. For some reason, the ATV veered off the roadway and onto the road's shoulder.
The ATV the hit three pedestrians on the south shoulder. The ATV then continued forward after impact with the pedestrians, and then crashed in several small trees.
The driver of the ATV, a 24-years-old East Dublin man sustained fatal injuries. The ATV passenger, a 37-year-old from Lumber City also sustained fatal accident injuries. The Georgia State Patrol is currently investigating the fatal accident.
