Two people Killed in a Wrong-way Accident on Interstate 15

August 17, 2021

FLORIDA - According to an online news report published on news3lv.com, the Clark County Coroner's Office identified the two people who were killed in a wrong-way accident on Interstate 15.*

A nineteen-year-old boy and an 8-year-old boy were tragically killed in the collision.  Both passed away due to multiple blunt force trauma, according to the coroner's office.

The Nevada Highway Patrol reported that the crash occurred last Monday night on northbound I-15 by mile marker 78, about 25 miles northeast of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

The fatal accident involved a motor vehicle heading the wrong way, and accident investigators believe impaired driving is responsible for the accident. No other details on the circumstances of the crash have been released.
