Tragic, Fatal 4-wheeler Accident in Laurens County, Georgia
LAURENS COUNTY, GEORGIA - A news article published on 13wmaz.com reports that two people were tragically killed in a 4-wheeler crash in Laurens County, Georgia.* According to Georgia State Patrol, the accident happened at approximately 4 PM.
Georgia State Patrol states that an ATV left the road, struck three people, and then crashed into some trees.
The Deputy Coroner, Nathan Stanley, reported that he discovered a 37-year-old woman lying dead when he arrived at the accident on Robert Plummer Road in East Dublin, Georgia. The victim was from Lumber City, Georgia. Mr. Stanley reported that the 24-year-old driver was taken to a local area hospital in a private car. The driver tragically passed away later that day at a Macon hospital, according to Mr. Stanley.
The Deputy Coroner stated that eyewitnesses stated that there were people. It's not known how the fatal accident happened, according to Georgia State Patrol. The fatal ATV accident is currently under investigation.
