Troup County Auto Accident Tragically Takes the Life of West Point Woman

TROUP COUNTY, GEORGIA – According to an online news article published on wrbl.com, a fatal car accident in Troup County tragically killed a West Point woman.*  The two-vehicle accident occurred along West Point Road at approximately 4:30 in the afternoon last Saturday.

Emergency first responders answered the call concerning a serious motor vehicle accident. The woman was tragically pronounced deceased at around 7:00 PM. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is conducting an autopsy on the victim.  

The Georgia State Patrol is currently performing an investigation on the accident. No additional details concerning injuries were made public at this time.  No names of those involved in the motor vehicle accident were released by local officials.
