Brooks County Woman Tragically Dies in a Three Vehicle Accident in Valdosta, Georgia
VALDOSTA, GEORGIA - A valdostadailytimes.com news report states that a woman from Brooks County was tragically killed last Friday in a traffic accident in Valdosta, Georgia.*
The Brooks County Coroner's Officer was called to the scene of a severe motor vehicle accident at around 5 PM. As the coroner arrived at the accident scene, the coroner found a three-vehicle accident. The crash occurred in the 3200 block of North Mosta Road.
According to the coroner, a 49-year-old female driver from Quitman was tragically killed in the accident and passed away at the accident scene.
The Valdosta Police Department redirected traffic for numerous hours while emergency crews investigated the accident and cleared away the wreckage. Valdosta Police are currently investigating the accident. Law enforcement officers were grateful for all of the citizens who stopped assisting and rendering as they awaited emergency medical services and law enforcement to arrive.
