GDOT Reports a Seven Vehicle Accident on I-75 in Cobb County, Georgia
COBB COUNTY, GEORGIA - A news article published on 11alive.com states that a major roadway was reopened following a serious multi-vehicle accident in Cobb County, Georgia.*
According to the Georgia Department of Transportation accident maps, the multi-vehicle accident occurred by the SR-120 Loop/North Marietta Parkway. The news report states that the accident a truck and six cars.
The accident happened at approximately 10:30 PM and continued to close the roadway until around 12:30 AM. Motorists were asked to find alternate routes, including I-285 to Cobb Parkway. Law enforcement authorities have not disclosed what caused the accident. A Marietta Police spokesperson stated that there were accident-related injuries reported. The accident is currently under investigation.
