Floyd County Investigation a Tragic and Fatal Trucking Accident
FLOYD COUNTY, GEORGIA - A news report published on northwestgeorgianews.com states that the Floyd County police have identified a man who was tragically killed tractor-trailer truck accident.*
According to the Floyd County Police, the accident victim was a 20-year-old man.
The victim was standing while he was operating a tractor-trailer truck in a field close to the intersection of Georgia Highway 53 and 140. The victims' foot slipped and was caught up in one of the truck's tires. He then slipped off of the truck, and another person tried to stop the truck. However, the other person was unable to stop the truck before it ran over Rithe victim.
The incident is currently under investigation by law enforcement. The news report provided no other details about the fatal accident.
