Rockdale County Deputy Severely Injured in an Accident
ROCKDALE COUNTY, GEORIGA - A news story posted on eminetra.com states that Rockdale County law enforcement officers are currently investigating a serious auto accident that injured one of their own.*
The severe crash happened at around 3:15 AM on the eastbound I-20 interchange by the Salem Road I-20 exit.
A Rockdale County police spokesperson stated that investigators were still collecting evidence and details concerning the accident. Also, the spokesperson did not affirm the status of their injured officer.
One Georgia Department of Transportation official stated that there were at least two cars that were involved in the motor vehicle accident. The Eastbound traffic lanes of I-20 around the accident were closed by at least six Rockdale County Deputies and a few Georgia Highway Patrol troopers.
