Multi-vehicle Accident Causes Significant Delays Along Highway 69 in Guntersville, Alabama.

GUNTERSVILLE, ALABAMA - A news report published on WAFF.com states that a multi-vehicle crash is generating significant traffic delays in the Guntersville area.*

According to the Guntersville police, several vehicles crash at the intersection of Highway 69 and Georgia Mountain Road at approximately 7 PM.

A Guntersville police officer confirmed that at least one person was being transported to a local area hospital to be treated for accident-related injuries. The victim's medical condition is not known at the time of this article.

Emergency crews who responded to the accident scene stated that the road would be closed until they are able to clear the area.  Motorists are asked to avoid the area if possible. 

The Guntersville police are investigating the accident. No other details about the accident victims were disclosed at this time. No criminal charges were filed at this time.
