According to an Athens-Clarke County Police Department media release, the victim, a 72-year-old, was driving her Ford Edge along Atlanta Highway by Fowler Mill Road. At some point, her vehicle left traffic lane, side-swiped another motor vehicle, and then crashed head-on with another vehicle.
