Lincoln woman dies in Highway 44 crash near Kearney

LINCOLN, NE - A news report published on newschannelnebraska.com states that a Lincoln woman was tragically killed iin a motor vehicle accident near Kearney, Nebraska.*  The Nebraska State Patrol states that the accident occurred at around 4:00 PM along Highway 44, which is about five miles south of Kearney, Nebraska.

Law enforcement authorities state that a car drived by a 40-year-old woman was attempting to make a U-turn along Highway 44. At that moment another car struck her vehicle and a grain hauler truck.

The woman was tragically pronounced dead at the accident scene. The accident is currently under investigation. No other information was provided.
