Driver Tragically Killed in a Bridge Accident in South Carolina

GREENVILLE COUNTY, SC - A news report posted on states that an upstate driver was tragically killed in a bridge accident outside of Simpsonville, South Carolina.*  According to South Carolina Highway Patrol reports, a Dodge pickup truck driver was heading southbound along West Georgia Road at approximately  5:35 AM when the accident occurred.

South Carolina Highway Patrol's Sargeant Joel Hovis stated that the pickup truck driver veered off the lefthand side of the road, collided with the bridge's guardrail, and then flipped over and off of the bridge.

Sargeant Hovis reported that the victim, who hasn't been identified, tragically died at the accident.  The victim needed to be mechanically extracted from his pickup truck.  The accident is currently under investigation.  No names of those involved in the accident have been released.
