Three People Are Tragically Killed in Two Separate Accidents in Hall County, Georgia
GEORGIA - A news report published on nowhabersham.com states three people were killed in two separate motor vehicle accidents in Hall County, Georgia.* One man was tragically killed in a fatal accident at around 1:30 AM on I-985 in south Hall County, Georgia. The motor vehicle accident occurred in the area of mile marker 11, between the Friendship and Spout Springs Roads exits.
According to the early investigation, the SUV left the northbound lanes of the interstate, rolled several times and ejected the male driver, killing him. There were no passengers in the vehicle.
Investigators are working to notify the man’s next of kin who, officials say, did not live in the area. The Hall County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the wreck.
Hall County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Hall County Fire Services personnel responded to the call at approximately 2 AM along U.S. 129/Athens Highway by Barrett Road. Both drivers tragically passed away at the scene of the accident, a spokesperson for the Hall County Sheriff’s Office says. There were no other occupants in the motor vehicles. Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts.
According to a preliminary investigation conducted by the Hall County Sheriff’s Office Accident Investigation Unit, the deceased drivers were identified and next of kin was notified for the drivers. The fatal head-on is currently under investigation.
