Tractor-trailer Accident on I-85 Closed Down Interstate 85 for Several Hours

GEORGIA - A news story posted on lagrangenews.com stated that a trucking accident on Interstate 85 northbound involved two other motor vehicles and closed down Interstate 85 for several hours.*  According to the Georgia State Patrol's accident report, the tractor-trailer truck overturned and spilled over about 40,000 pounds of Bud Light beer into the northbound traffic lanes of I-85.  All northbound lanes were shut down at around 10 PM and were reopened around 10:30 PM.

The motor vehicle accident at Exit 18 along Interstate 85.  The Georgia State Patrol stated that there was one injury, and that victim was taken to the hospital with visible injuries, but they reportedly were not considered life-threatening.  No criminal charges have been filed against the driver
