Tragic, Fatal 18-Wheeler Truck Accident on I-20 by Lake Oconee

A news story posted on wjbf.com states that a deadly 18-wheeler truck accident has closed down sections of I-20 by the Lake Oconee area.  The westbound traffic lanes of I-20 between Exit 138 and Exit 130 were closed.  The accident scene also cause significant delays in the eastbound lanes towards Augusta, Georgia.  The accident was cleared at around 4 PM.

There were no further details about the accident.  Law enforcement officers are investigating the trucking accident.  No names of those involved or if injuries were sustained have been reported at this time.
