Tragic, Fatal Accident on Highway 85 South in Fayetteville, Georgia
FAYETTEVILLE, GA - A news report published on 11alive.com states that a fatal accident in Fayetteville, Georgia, involved a pickup truck and an 18-wheeler.* Law enforcement authorities stated that one person tragically died in the Friday afternoon accident. Ann Marie Burdett, a Fayetteville Police spokesperson, stated that the Fayetteville police were called to an accident around Highway 85 South by the Kroger and Publix grocery stores located just north of Highway 92.
The law enforcement officers stated that a semi-tractor-trailer truck collided with a pickup truck, and the pickup truck driver tragically passed away. The 18-wheeler truck driver is seriously injured and is listed as in critical medical condition.
