Fatal 18-Wheeler Accident on Southbound I-75 in Lowndes County, Georgia
LAKE PARK, GA - A news report published on wctv.tv states that a pregnant woman and another accident victim were tragically killed in a severe accident on southbound I-75 in Lowndes County, Georgia.* The fatal accident occurred at around 7 AM, according to Georgia State Patrol. The original WALB story reported that there three people who tragically passed away in the accident. However, the Georgia State Patrol stated that there had been two confirmed fatalities in the I-75 crash.
Georgia State Patrol troopers stated that a preliminary accident investigation confirmed that a tractor-trailer truck was struck by another tractor-trailer truck. The accident caused the victim's truck to catch on fire, and all southbound lanes of I-75 were closed.
