Two People Hospitalized in Two Separate Motor Vehicle Accidents in Warner Robins, Georgia (GA)
WARNER ROBINS, GA - A news article published on 13wmaz.com reports that two accident victims are in a local area hospital following two separate traffic accidents that shut down traffic in Warner Robins, Georgia, last Friday evening.*
According to a Warner Robins Police Department Facebook news release, the first motor vehicle accident occurred along Watson Boulevard near 4th Street at around 7:30 PM. In this collision, the driver of a Jeep was allegedly speeding eastbound along with Watson, crossed the center line, and collided head-on with a U-Haul truck heading westbound. The Jeep's driver needed to be extricated from their vehicle. The Jeep's driver was then transported to the Medical Center at Atrium Health Navicent in Macon, Georiga. The driver is listed in serious medical condition.
In the second, severe Macon accident along Carl Vinson Parkway by Leverette Road, the law enforcement press release stated that an SUV was heading northbound when the driver struck a person who was riding a bicycle along Leverette Road. The bicyclist was transported to the Medical Center, Atrium Health Navicent in Macon, Georgia, where they are listed in serious medical condition.
The accidents are currently under investigation. No further details were provided.
