Manhattan Woman Tragicall Killed in a Seven Vehicle Accident on I-70

TOPEKA, KS - A news report posted on wibw.com states that a woman was tragically killed in a seven-vehicle accident along I-70 in Downtown Topeka, Kansas. Her husband is Kansas State's Assistant Women's Tennis coach.*

The victim was tragically killed when a large metal pipe flew off an eastbound 18-wheeler semi-tractor-trailer truck and landed on top of the woman's westbound Kia Forte. The accident occurred close to the 3rd Street exit. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, there were no other injuries reported in the multi-vehicle collision.

The 29-year-old woman was born in Georgia, and she is survived by her husband, parents, and brother. No additional information about the accident was provided. No criminal charges were filed at the time of the news story. The fatal crash is currently under investigation by local and e law enforcement authorities.
