According to the Georgia State Patrol, the fatal motor vehicle accident occurred at around 7:10 p.m. on Chug-A-Lug Road by the intersection with Hardee Drive. Georgia State Patrol Post 31's Corporal Brian Cox stated that the two women were standing outside their motor vehicle when they were hit and killed by another motor vehicle.
