Fatal Two-vehicle Accident in Wagner, South Dakota
WAGNER, SD - A news report published on newschannelnebraska.com reports that law enforcement authorities released the identities of four victims involved in a severe, fatal two-vehicle accident in Wagner, South Dakota.*
The South Dakota Highway Patrol identified the accident victims as a 64-year-old woman from Wagner, a 31-year-old woman from Mitchell, a 28-year-old woman from Lake Andes, and a 33-year-old man from Omaha, Nebraska.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol stated that the accident occurred at around six o'clock in the evening. The accident occurred when a Chrysler Sebring failed to come to a stop at an intersection and then crashed with a Jeep Grand Cherokee. The car then went into a ditch and caught on fire, law enforcement authorities said.
The SUV only had the driver as an occupant. The South Dakota Highway Patrol stated that the people involved in the accident appeared to not be wearing their seat belts. The accident is currently under invesigation.
