Three Truck Accidents Shut Down I-20 West in Greene County, Georgia
ATLANTA, GA - A news report posted on 11alive.com reports that at approximately 8:45 am, an accident on I-20 West in Greene County was announced by Georgia 511 via Twitter.*
The accident closed down State Route 77 and the seriousness of the crash has not been detailed. The 511 website states that three trucks were involved in the accident.
According to the 11Alive Traffic Tracker Crash Clark, drivers were advised to take Highway 78 as an alternatie route. Traffic was backed up by Six Flags since a couple of lanes were blocked.
Additionally, I-85 South had a traffic jam around Highway 316 due to a crash by Steve Reynolds Boulevard.
The third truck accident occurred south of Atlanta along I-85 North heading into Fairburn. This tractor trailer accident and the other two accident are currently under investigation.
