Fatal Auto Accident in Jackson County, Alabama (AL)

JACKSON COUNTY, AL - According to a news story on waff.com, troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency answered a 911 phone call about a two-vehicle accident in Jackson County, Alabama.*  The accident tragically killed two men.

In the news report, Alabama Law Enforcement Agency stated that an accident that happened at around 8:35 p.m. on January 31, 2021, took the lives of two men.  A 60-year-old man from Marietta, Georgia was killed when the Honda Accord improperly passed other vehicles and collided with a Nissan Altima.  One victim, a 23-year-old Pisgah man, was also fatally injured in the crash.

Law Enforcement Authorities stated that one of the men was pronounced dead at the accident scene and was taken to a local area hospital for medical treatment-  The victim later succumbed to his accident-related injuries. 

The motor vehicle accident occurred along Alabama 40 by Jackson County 124, about two miles north of Dutton, Alabama.  The fatal auto accident is currently under  investigation.
