Macon Transit Authority Bus Accident on Forsyth Road in Macon, Georgia (GA)

MACON, GA - An accident news story published on wgxa.tv reports the Bibb County Sheriff's Office reported on an accident between a Macon Transit Authority bus and a small car.*

The bus accident resulted in non-life-threatening injuries.  According to the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, the car's driver had to be extracted from their vehicle and was transported to a local area hospital by ambulance.  The crash occurred on Forsyth Road close to the Macon Little Theatre.  

According to the news report, there is an extraordinary amount of damage to the Macon Transit Authority bus's rear end and the front of the car.  The Macon fire and emergency crews and Bibb County Sherriff's Office deputies responded to the accident. 

The accident is currently under investigation.  No names of the victims or parties involved in the accident were released to the public.
