Three People From Georgia Was Tragically Killed in an Airplane Accident in Michigan
According to an airplane accident report on ajc.com, an airplane was traveling from Georgia to Michigan when the plane crashed in southeastern Michigan.*
Tragically, the p the pilot and two passengers were killed. According to law enforcement, the pilot was experienced. The other occupants included his wife and the couple's college-age son.
According to the news report, the family's private plane crashed into a home about 1,500 feet north of the New Hudson airport, where they intended to land. The family was returning to their Michigan home when the accident occurred on Saturday.
Fortunately, the five people who were inside the two-story house at the time of the accident were able to avoid injury. However, the crash caused a major fire that severely damaged the house located in Lyon Township. Lion Township is located about 40 miles northwest of Detroit, Michigan.
Law enforcement and the FAA will be conducting the accident investigation.
