Car Rollover Accident on Riverside Drive in North Macon, Georgia

According to an online news report published on 13wmaz.com, a rollover car accident occurred in North Macon, Georgia, on Saturday leaving the driver injured.*

The Georgia State Patrol states that approximately 200 feet of chain link fence and guardrail was destroyed in the rollover accident.  According to an accident report provided by the Georgia State Patrol, a Dodge Charger was heading southbound along Riverside Drive in North Macon when the car suddenly drove off of the roadway. The Dodge Charger struck the road's chain link fence and guardrail that separates Interstate 75 from Riverside Drive. 

The accident news report states that the Dodge Charger rolled over multiple times before coming to a complete stop in one of the southbound lanes on Interstate 75.  According to the Georgia State Patrol, the driver of the Dodge Charger was fortunate to survive the accident and only sustains some personal injuries. 

The accident news report did not indicate how the accident occurred.  The Georgia Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the roller accident.
