Traffic Accident on I-95 in Dorchester County, South Carolina (SC)

According to an online news report published on live5news.com, the South Carolina Department of Transportation reported on a severe auto accident along I-95 South.*

The news report states that the location of the motor vehicle accident was three miles north of Exit 68-South Carolina 61 on I-95 South.  The motor vehicle accident backed traffic up for approximately eight miles.  The area of the traffic jam was between SC-61 Augusta Highway and US-78.  

The South Carolina Department of Transportation did not report details about the number of motor vehicles involved or the number of individuals injured in the crash.  The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.  The accident was one of several accidents along I-95 that occurred over the weekend.  The South Carolina Department of Transportation will provide an accident news release in the next few days.
