Tragic Diving Accident in Southwest Florida

December 02, 2020

According to an online news report published on nbc-2.com, a pregnant woman from Port Charlotte was tragically killed in car accident.*

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the woman and her two young children were involved in a serious motor vehicle accident along River Road near Englewood.  The fatal accident occurred on Sunday morning while the woman was traveling to work.

The 28-year-old woman was only a few miles from her place of work when she was struck by an oncoming car.  The other driver apparently swerved into her vehicle and was the cause of the accident.  The victim was tragically pronounced dead at the accident scene by Sarasota County Emergency Medical Services.

The victim worked at a rehabilitation center in Venice, Florida.  She was a CNA. She never made it.  The Florida Highway Patrol is currently investigating the fatal collision.  Accident investigators believe the other driver who struck the victim's car was impaired.
