Tragic, Fatal Accident on Sardis Church Road in Bibb County, Georgia (GA)

According to an online news report published on wgxa.tv, Bibb County Sheriff's deputies worked a tragic, fatal accident n the Sardis Church Road extension near Walden Road in Bibb County, Georgia.*

The Bibb County Sheriff's deputies stated that the driver of a Nissan Altima, a 42-year-old man, was involved in an accident with a 58-year-old woman who was driving a Chevrolet Camaro. The fatal collision tragically killed both drivers. Both drivers were pronounced dead at the accident scene by the Bibb Coroner's Office. Bibb County Sheriff's deputies stated that the fatal accident is currently under investigation.

According to Bibb County Sheriff's deputies, the collision occurred at around 6:34 pm when a Nissan Altima operated by a man from Cochran, Georgia, was driving westbound along Sardis Church Road. The report states that the driver of the Nissan Altima crossed over the median and traveled into the eastbound lane. The Nissan Altima then hit a Chevrolet Camaro head-on.

Law enforcement is asking the public for help in their investigation. If anyone has information about this or any other accident, they are encouraged to provide that information to the Fatality Investigator with the Bibb County Sheriff's Office or they may contact the Macon Regional Crime Stoppers.
