Trenton Man Injured in Boating Accident on Swanson Reservoir, Nebraska

According to an online news report posted on newschannelnebraska.com, a Trenton man received serious personal injuries when he was evolved in a severe boating accident on Swanson Reservoir in Hitchcock County, Nebraska.*

The report states that the boating accident happened in the afternoon.  The report also states that the 46-year-old man was with his dog on his boat   when he was ejected off of the boat into the lake.  The man's boat bang to circle as it was running without a driver.  Fortunately, another boater witnessed the accident and initiated a rescue.  The restorer helped the man out of the water and then transported the man to the boat ramp so that emergency medial personnel could render medical treatment. .

The man, who received numerous personal injuries from the boat's propeller, was then transported to the CHI Health Good Samaritan in Kearney.  The man was flown by en emergence medical helicopter due to the severity of his personal injuries. 

Parks Commission conservation officers and Nebraska Game officers were able to secure the man's dog and boat. The accident is being investigated.  The boat will be impounded for safety checks and possible mechanical defects.
