Tragic Fatal Accident on Shady Grove Road in Forsyth County, Georgia

A news report published on forsythnews.com, a man from Forsyth County, Georgia, tragically died in a motor vehicle accident on Shady Grove Road.*

According to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman, Stacie Miller, the accident occurred in the early morning hours at approximately 1:15 a.m. in the morning. 

The 43-year-old man from Cumming, Georgia, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene of the motor vehicle accident.  The article states that the cause of the accident appears to be excessive speed.  The report states that the man struck the southbound shoulder of Shady Grove Road while driving “at an excessive speed.”  The accident occurred near Holland Drive.  

The news report states that the 43-year-old Cumming  man may have overcorrected wroad hen he struck the road shoulder and this caused his motor vehicle to “spin and then began to roll,” striking a mailbox, shrubs, trees, wood fencing and landscaping boulders.

The report also states that the driver was ejected from his motor vehicle because the man “was not wearing a seat belt at the time” of the motor vehicle accident. 

The motor vehicle accident was the 14th fatal accident in Forsyth County, Georgia, this year.
