Deadly Crash Reported on Millard Farmer Road in Coweta County, Georgia (GA)
COWETA COUNTY, GA- Times-herald.com writes that a driver involved in a deadly collision this week was likely driving under the influence and speeding.*
The tragic collision took place in the afternoon on Millard Farmer Road close to the Browns Mill Battlefield. According to reports, an SUV failed to successfully navigate a turn in the road while heading westbound and veered off of the roadway. The driver then attempted to correct but ended up rolling over in a ditch and colliding with multiple trees.
The impact caused a passenger in the vehicle to be ejected and then stuck beneath the car. Responders were able to lift the vehicle off of the victim. That individual was transported to an Atlanta hospital where she is currently in serious condition. The individual driving the car, identified as a 42-year-old man, died at the scene of the crash. According to investigators, the crash involved speed and alcohol. Reports did not identify the woman injured in the collision.
