RV Crash Injures One on US Highway 319 North in Moultrie, Georgia (GA)
MOULTRIE, GA- Moultrieobserver.com writes that a crash occurred this week on US Highway 219 North that injured one person. The early afternoon incident involved an RV and a passenger vehicle.*
Reports state that a 27-year-old woman in a car was heading southbound in the inside lane of the Highway in front of an RV. As the woman slowed her vehicle in an effort to make a left turn at the entrance of a business, the driver in the RV failed to slow down and struck the rear of the car. The front driver’s side of the RV struck the rear passenger side of the victim’s 2016 Ford Focus. The impact caused the Ford to roll several times. The car eventually came to a stop in a ditch.The driver of the RV was a 70-year-old man who was traveling with a 70-year-old female passenger. The victim, who was hospitalized at the Tift Medical Center, reportedly stated that she had used her left turn signal leading up to the spot where she intended to turn. The driver in the RV stated that he never saw the car prior to the crash.

Manufacturers experienced a spike in sales and requests for these vehicles over the last few months as people chose to opt for RVs as a safer form of transportation. Many people like that using an RV means that they do not need to risk entering situations that would expose them to the coronavirus.
