MURRAY COUNTY, GA- writes that a crash occurred this week in Murray County on Highway 61 that left two people dead. The incident happened close to the intersection with Hooker Road. The Georgia State Patrol reports that two vehicles were involved in the crash.*

A witness informed the police that a red Mustang was traveling in front of a silver sedan. The silver car crashed into the back of the Mustang multiple times and then pulled nest to the Ford and ran it off the roadway onto the shoulder.

The driver of the Mustang then lost control of his car, and it began to spin. The vehicle then rolled over and collided with a tree before stopping upright. The badly damaged vehicle spread debris through the air and into a nearby home.

Two people were in the Mustang during the dramatic collision, and both were killed in the wreck. Police identified the individuals as a nineteen-year-old boy and a twenty-year-old woman, both of whom were declared dead at the scene.
