Houston County Car Chase Ends In Crash
HOUSTON COUNTY, GA- 13wmaz.com writes that police began to follow a suspect in Pulaski County this week, leading to a chase that ended in Houston County with a collision.*
The incident began in Hartford at a shop. A woman notified officers of a reckless driver, and police located the vehicle and attempted to speak to the driver. The man instead got into his car and sped away from the officers. The driver entered Interstate 75N and traveled into Houston County. Police from Houston County became involved in the chase as well. The man continued to attempt to flee and exited the interstate at Russell Parkway. At that point, the driver entered the westbound lanes while driving eastbound and collided with another vehicle head-on.
The suspect was injured in the crash, and responders transported him to the hospital. Once recovered, Pulaski County will serve warrants for his arrest.
The authorities have not yet released the identity of the driver or details regarding the other vehicle involved in the wreck.
