Teen Killed in Tragic Motorcycle Crash Over the Weekend in Cobb County, Georgia

COBB COUNTY, GA- writes that a motorcycle crash occurred in Cobb County, Georgia, in the afternoon over the weekend. The incident took place at the intersection of Alabama Road and Old Mountain Park Road.*

Reports indicate that a 2001 Nissan Altima was traveling eastbound when the 21-year-old driver attempted to make a left turn. The eighteen-year-old victim, who was riding on a 2009 Suzuki SV650, was traveling westbound and collided with the turning car. The impact caused the motorcyclist to be ejected from his bike. Responders transported the teen to the North Fulton Hospital, where he died a short while after the crash. 

Police are still investigating the incident but have not indicated whether they plan to file any charges.
