School Bus and SUV Crash Kills One on Pucketts Mill Road in Gwinnett County, Georgia

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA- Patch.comwrites that an SUV and a school bus collided in Gwinnett County earlier this week. The crash killed the person driving the SUV.*

Reports indicate that the two vehicles collided at the intersection of Hamilton Mill Road and Pucketts Mill Road. 

The bus was taking students from the Ivy Creek Elementary School home in the afternoon. There were five special education pre-K students on the bus when the crash occurred. Responders checked two of the individuals on the bus at the scene but determined that no one traveling on the school bus had sustained serious injuries in the crash. The students all proceeded home on another bus after the collision. 

The crash led to delays in the area. Details regarding how the collision occurred and the identity of the deceased SUV driver are not yet available. Images from the scene show severe damage to the front of the SUV and the front of the bus.
