Phenix City Pedestrian Tragically Dies in Early Morning Accident
PHENIX CITY, AL – According to an online news report at wrbl.com, a pedestrian tragically died in Phenix City, Alabama on United States Highway 80 close to Wynn Road, per the Phenix City Police Department.*
The driver who hit the pedestrian is a 21-year-old from Shiloh, Georgia. This individual, who has not been identified in the report, struck a 33-year-old female pedestrian from Phenix City. Following the crash, authorities declared the woman deceased at the scene.
No charges have been announced at this time. An investigation of the accident remains ongoing.
